Advertisemounts | Temporary installation along a 125 foot construction fence on 6th Ave in Tacoma. The property owners WC Studio wanted to bring beauty to the site and to the neighborhood during their construction process for new residential units. We up-cycled 14 vinyl billboards, weaving over 2,000 feet of the material into the fence. Funding from Spaceworks and the property owners.
Inheritance + Destiny | Installation for the opening of Tacoma Arts Month. Map of the city suspended from balloons representing the past, present, and future of the city. We laser cut over 100 sheets of cardboard at Fablab and filled sixteen 3' balloons with 125 cu. ft. of helium. Funded by the City's TAIP program and Spaceworks.
Layers | Whole Foods Market Inc. reached out to us in October 2014 about creating a permanent installation for their new location in University Place Washington.
We created an 8 x 8 foot drawing based on the topography of Mount Rainier and had the artwork laser engraved on 1/2 inch europly.
Runoff | CNC routed europly based on water runoff patterns from a northern section of Mt. Baker.
Where is Tacoma | Fantastical drawing of the port area for the City of Tacoma Traffic Box Wrap Program. While being a departure from our typical work, this project did play off of Tim’s background in architecture and April’s passion for color.
Rainbow Sunset | Acrylic on foam. 8 feet x 4 feet.
Sea to Sky | Arc’teryx reached out to us in April 2019 about creating drawings of mountains in the Sea to Sky Corridor. We created a series in our polygonal style for them to print at 10 feet each for their offices in Vancouver, B.C.
